DESCRIPTION: ESCIN: It acts on the capillaries of the hemorrhoidal veins, by stimulating the circulation of blood. It helps to improve the blood-flow, reducing the edema and helping hemorrhoids to retract. MENTHOL: Thanks to its well-known local anesthetic properties, it is very useful against pain caused by hemorrhoids. VITIS VINIFERA: Plays a protective action at the level of the microcirculation by decreasing the permeability of venous capillaries and by increasing their resistance also in presence of recurrent proctitis. GLYCOSAMINOGLYCAN: They are covalently linked to proteins, forming complex structures. They have lubricating, connective and protective properties. MIMOSA TENUIFLORA: It plays a protective action at the level of microcirculation by decreasing the permeability of venous capillaries and by increasing their resistance also in presence of recurrent proctitis. BLUEBERRY: It has a protective and tonifying action on the veins, thanks to the presence of anthocyanins which inhibit the activity of proteolytic enzymes and hence the degradation of collagens and elastic tissues. Moreover, anthocyanins exert a positive effect on the blood vessel wall of the veins. GLYCYRRHETIC ACID: It is a triterpenic organic acid extracted from the Lycorice plant (Glycyrrhiza glabra). It is used as anti-inflammatory and healing agent and gives the product a soothing activity. How to Use For internal use. The recommended dose is up to 2 suppositories per day.
