Disadvantages of Peristaltic Pump:
- Peristaltic pumps have a smaller flow rate for the same power compared to other pumps.
- Pump tube will wear out under repeated rolling of the rollers and needs to be replaced in time.
- Pump will produce a pulse flow when the rollers alternate during operation.
