3 Meter Liquid Level Floater with Rubber Cable - Electric Float Switch

Level floaters are electrical control elements that control devices such as pumps and hydrophores to which they are connected by giving electrical contact according to the increase and decrease of the water level in tanks, large wells or water bodies of a certain volume and depth. Electric floats ensure that the water is kept at a certain level or enable other devices to be activated and deactivated according to the water level.

 

Since the floater's float is lighter than water, it rises to the surface when submerged in water. When the water level decreases, the float goes down with the water. Meanwhile, a stainless steel ball with a diameter of approximately 25 mm inside the float moves forward or backward in its own channel inside the float by 2 cm according to the up or down movement of the float. Again, a micro switch fixed to the end of the channel where the ball moves linearly inside the float is opened and closed by the impact movement of the steel ball moving back and forth. Thus, an electrical switching occurs.

 

 

The advantage of floaters having rubber cables is that the cable does not harden due to temperature changes of air and water or over time, or cracks or breaks do not occur in the cable due to hardening. The cable continues to work for many years without losing its elastic structure.

 

Liquid level floaters are used in liquid level control of stagnant liquid tanks in residences and industrial facilities (tanks, artesian wells, cesspits, waste water). Our liquid level switch is resistant to mineral and acidic waters up to 10% concentration. The outer cover of our liquid level switches is made of anti-shock polypropylene material and is resistant to high ambient temperatures.

 Liquid level floaters can be used in both directions, they can be set to work when in the down position and stay up or vice versa.
