It is recommended to install the smoke detector on the ceiling. Smoke, heat, and combustion products rise to the ceiling and spread laterally; therefore, it is advisable to position the detector in the center of the ceiling, maintaining a minimum distance of 30 cm from any light fixtures or decorations. Additionally, ensure that the detector remains at least 15 cm away from walls and corners. For halls exceeding 12 meters in length, installation at both ends is preferable. Important Notes: 1. Upon detection of smoke by the sensor, press the self-check/mute button to stop the alarm. 2. This device is not suitable for environments with significant dust, water mist, steam, oil mist, or corrosive gases. 3. Pay attention to potential causes of false alarms and use the device correctly while enhancing fire safety awareness. 4. Keep the detector clean to prevent dust accumulation. It is recommended to clean it every six months using a household vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment. 5. In the normal standby state, pressing the self-test/mute button will trigger a brief alarm to verify the functionality of the smoke detector.
