Keep Your Eye on the Key
The game revolves around solving a puzzle while maintaining careful attention and sharp observation to win safely. The game includes a set of keys, and each player must quickly grab a key after solving the puzzle since there are always fewer keys than players. This leaves one player without a key, and to stay in the game, they must solve the door code or puzzle. Ultimately, only one player remains—the one who couldn't get a key.
Game Components:
50 numbered cards with repeating digits from 0 to 9.
5 double-numbered cards.
2 Joker cards.
5 keys.
Game Rules:
The Joker substitutes for any number in the game.
Players must act quickly and take turns in rapid succession.
Double-numbered cards (e.g., 3/8) allow a player to use either number.
A player must place their card face-down in front of the next player before picking up the card left by the previous player.
If the initial draw pile runs out, players use the discarded pile to the right of the last player.
How to Play:
Place the keys on the table—always one fewer than the number of players (e.g., 5 keys for 6 players).
Deal 4 cards to each player and place the remaining deck to the left of the first player.
The first player selects a card from their hand, places it face-down to the right of the next player, then draws a new card from the deck.
The second player repeats the process—placing a card to their right and picking up the previous player’s card.
This continues rapidly in a circle until a player collects matching numbers.
When a player gets matching cards, they slam their cards down and grab a key.
The remaining players quickly grab the leftover keys.
The player left without a key loses the round and is eliminated.
The last remaining player (who grabs the final key) wins!
