Arduino Leonardo is an Arduino board containing an ATmega32u4 microcontroller. The difference between Arduino Leonardo and other boards is that the ATmega32u4 microcontroller has its own internal USB communication feature. Therefore, it does not require a second processor. You can independently realize interactive applications with Arduino. You can also use Arduino by communicating with a computer through many software such as Flash, Processing, MaxMSP, C Sharp or with software you have written yourself. You can use the open source interface software by downloading it from the website for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux platforms. Arduino Leonardo has 20 digital input / output pins. 7 of them can be used as PWM outputs and 12 of them can be used as analog inputs. There is also a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, USB connection, power jack (2.1mm), ICSP header and reset button. Arduino Leonardo contains all the necessary components to support a microcontroller.
