Bio 230T Biology Digital Microscope

Overview<p>MAGUS Bio 230T is a trinocular biology microscope for laboratory and research observations in the fields of medicine, pharmaceuticals, forensic medicine, biotechnology, etc. It is suitable for the observation of flat biological translucent and transparent samples: thin sections and organic tissues. Equipped with achromatic objectives and a halogen bulb, the transmitted light microscopy technique (bright field) is used to examine the samples. The design of the microscope allows the attachment of additional accessories that allow the use of other microscopy techniques: darkfield, phase contrast, polarized light. </p> <p><strong>Optical components </strong></p> <p>The trinocular head has a vertical tube for attaching a digital camera. The camera (not included) is the perfect solution for creating digital archives of your studies and transferring images to an external monitor screen. There is a 360° rotation option to adjust the observation tubes to suit the user's height. The left tube is equipped with a diopter adjustment ring. </p> <p>The rotating nosepiece is directed towards the inside, which leaves the space above the coverslip mount free. Up to five objectives can be mounted on the nosepiece simultaneously (4 objectives are included in the kit, with the 5th slot reserved for an additional objective). In the basic configuration, the infinity-corrected objectives provide magnifications from 40 to 1000x. The upper limit can be increased to 1500, 1600 or 2000x with optional eyepieces. </p> <p><strong>Illumination</strong></p> <p>The halogen bulb produces warm-spectrum light that reduces eye strain and is ideal for long hours of working with the microscope. The lamp is 30 W and therefore the brightness and contrast of the transmitted image is high, regardless of the type of objective or observation technique used. </p> <p>The height of the Abbe condenser is adjustable and can be centered. Illumination is controlled by adjusting the iris and field diaphragms, and there is the option to set the Köhler illumination for better image clarity. The condenser has a slot for fitting a phase or dark-field slide, which speeds up the process and makes it easier to switch between different microscopy techniques. </p> <p><strong>Coverslip mount and focusing mechanism </strong> </p> <p>There is no positioning shelf in the coverslip mount. This is an advantage of the mechanical coverslip mount design as it makes the microscope easier to use. The specimen can be moved smoothly along the coverslip mount. The mechanical insert is removable (can be removed for manual scanning). </p> <p>Coarse and fine focusing adjustment is available, the focusing knob movement is smooth and easy, and does not require much effort. The coarse focusing mechanism has a lock button and a tension adjustment. The focusing knobs are coaxial, positioned for maximum comfort during long-term observations, and are located on the microscope base so that you can rest your hands comfortably on the table. </p> <p><strong>Accessories</strong></p> <p>To maximize the capabilities of the MAGUS Bio 230T microscope, you can further enhance it with a number of accessories.
