Editorial Review | Complete First Language has core and extended exercises, and also advice for the student on how to plan and write, along with the self-evaluation at the end of each unit which focuses them on exam skills. The texts are varied and interesting and I like the extension texts at the end of each unit. Also there are plenty of speaking activities which is great. There are some excellent activities on the CD ROM too. My first impression is that the resources are very useful and user friendly - certainly more so than any of the other text books which I've seen for First Language English. * Helen Leathem, Secondary English Teacher- St Anne's School, Spain * This week we received a copy of First Language English for Cambridge IGCSE and it was 'love at first sight!' It was definitely what we were needing at our school. Thank you very much for your service and the quality of your material! I am going to share it with another head from another school since they are needing the same type of resources. * Marcela Logioio, Head of English Primary and Director of Studies in Secondary School - Colegio Rio de la Plata, Argentina * |
