The OM5 non-sensitive multi-fiber broadband optimized for multi-wavelength transmission systems that operate in the 850-953nm range, allowing optimal support for short wavelength split-transmission applications that reduce the number of paralleled fibers by at least four to allow continuously use of only two fibers (instead of eight) for 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps and reduction of fiber for higher speeds. OM5 meets TIA-492AAAE requirements and IEC 60793-2-10 A1a.4 Project fully complies with existing OM4 networks and applications. It is RoHS compliant and the fiber patch cord is optically tested to make sure the insert is not lost to ensure high quality.
