| About the Author | John lives and works in Taunton, England. As a lyricist and storyteller, he has written over two dozen Spid stories and over a hundred songs. John started writing to keep in touch, and build relationships with his granddaughter, Evaleigh. He is passionate about encouraging literacy, and love of the English language. Some of the themes in Spid's books mirror John's own life. When he left school, he did not know what, if anything, he would be good at. Being one of eight children and growing up on a council estate he did not aspire to higher purpose. Though through working in healthcare, qualifying as a healthcare professional and travelling the world, he has established a successful healthcare business, and in so doing, amassed lots of humorous anecdotes on life. |
