نظرة عامةAll of our products are natural, handcrafted, and environmentally friendly. Sabaii grass and Bamboo ply are used to make this roti box. This grass is a perennial grass that grows mostly in the Mayurbhanj district of West Bengal and Orissa. We work directly with the region's craftswomen to help rural communities self-sustain during the non-farming season. About 60 households are now solely reliant on sabaii grass to make ends meet, thanks to this effort. As new groups develop with more fundamental trainings and hence greater self-employment capacity, the women crafts-group undergoes trainings from time to time, learning various advanced skills. Sabaii grass, also known as Babuii grass in India, is an extremely strong substance that was once used by the British Army in India to haul their artillery. East-Midnapur craftspeople created the bamboo utilised for the lid.
