Mesh intercom ensures stable and reliable connections and flexible routing of intercom signals. Whether in Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™ mode or Group Mesh Intercom™ mode, the intercom audio quality in mesh is exceptionally high. Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) is the industry's first channel system. Like traditional CB radios, Open Mesh mode allows the user to switch between nine channels to talk to different groups. To connect to the mesh network, Open Mesh is activated at the touch of a button, allowing a virtually unlimited number of users to be connected within an extendable range of up to 8 km (minimum of 6 riders with a separation of 1.6 km). For private group calls, the 50C offers a group intercom mode. Group Mesh supports a private group of up to 24 participants with the same range as Open Mesh mode, but to maintain privacy, only invited users can join the Group Mesh chat. The classic four-way Bluetooth intercom is still an option to connect the 50C with other Sena Bluetooth users. The 50C can then even act as a bridge between the mesh network and Bluetooth headset and include the latter in the mesh conversation. Voice commands to keep your attention on the road Voice commands allow helmet functions to be controlled without taking your hands off the handlebars, for example to answer the phone or turn on the mesh intercom. The 50C supports voice commands in 8 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. Access to the smartphone's digital assistant also makes it possible to connect to Google Assistant or Apple's Siri via voice commands and access the smartphone's functions. Just start with "Hey Siri" or "Hey Google" and let it play your favourite podcast, for example. Control with the Sena Motorcycle App The new Sena Motorcycle App gives users the ability to visually configure the settings of their 50C. Download the app to customise the settings and features of the 50C, allowing you to manage channel settings for Open Mesh or set up a private group for Group Mesh, for example.
