Self-adhesive silicone pads (Cerederm) - thin - painless - transparent - not affected by water - different sizes are used to remove old or recent wounds and scars, burns and post-operative scars - this form of bandage is especially suitable for lower abdominal scars after cesarean delivery for two months.
Highlights
Silicone pads are used to remove and prevent hypertrophic (raised, red) scars and keloid scars (fibrous, firm and thick growths).
The silicone pad softens the scar and reduces redness. The mechanical action of the self-adhesive bandage flattens the scar and limits its development. As for its semi-closed effect, it improves the appearance of the scar.
It is used to remove the signs of skin rashes and after burns, or for prevention after operations (skin suturing) or caesarean section for two months
It reduces the size of enlarged scars and limits their appearance, and silicone has a direct effect on the production of fibers and collagen within the scar itself.
Easy to use - Self-adhesive alone - Invisible - Transparent film - Water resistant
Wear the bandage daily until it loses adhesion and for a maximum of 3 days (preferably 24 hours a day) - it can be used alone without adding cream.
Noticeable results after 2-3 months of use - Visibly reduced scar: smoother, flatter and less redness
How to use: Remove the silicone pad from its package. Then cut it to the desired dimensions to cover the scar, taking into account a circumference of at least one centimeter.
Separate the two parts of the bandage (the brace and the film) by peeling them off on a small surface in order to continue the application.
Apply the adhesive side of the bandage to the scar, on clean skin, then remove the protective film, without pulling.
