| Book Description | FYPRYST 2.5 mg/ml 100 ml for spraying on the skin for cats and dogs. The Fypryst solution is used for the control and prevention of flea infestations in dogs (Ctenocephalides felis), ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.), control and prevention of dog lice infestations (Mallophaga), and as an aid in the treatment and control of flea allergy dermatitis in dogs. 1 ml of solution contains 2.5 mg of Fipronil. Apply 3 to 6 ml per kg of body weight (7.5 to 15 mg of fipronil per kg bw), which is 6 to 12 pump applications for the 100 ml bottle. Ruffle the fur of long-haired animals to allow the product to reach the skin on their back, sides, abdomen, legs, shoulders, and neck. For the head and eye area, spray the solution onto a glove and gently apply to the fur. Allow to dry naturally; do not towel dry. The product is active for up to five weeks against ticks, and one to three months against fleas. Do not use on sick animals (systemic diseases, fever) |
