The third edition (1993) was enlarged by including chapters on some aspects of earth darns stress path method machine foundation and laterally loaded piles. Chapters on soil classification shallow foundation and deep foundation were rewritten. This fourth edition is enlarged by an addendum on Foundations in Expansive Soil. |
