How to Program with Infrared
This remote has five infrared programmable keys. Take, for example, programming the TV's power on and off.
1. Ensure your remote supports the NEC programming protocol, that the batteries are properly installed, and that the LED flashes red.
2. Position the MX3 remote and TV remote facing each other at the top, keeping a distance of 0.1 feet between them.
3. Press the TV button on the MX3 Pro remote for 4-5 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly.
4. Then press the Power button on the TV remote for 4-5 seconds until the LED on the MX3 remote flashes rapidly. Press one of the five infrared keys; the MX3 LED will flash red without flashing.
5. Then press the TV buttons on the MX3 Pro remote control to exit programming mode.
