Author | لابي عبد الله محمد بن احمد الانصاري القرطبي |
Book Description | The author of this great book is the imam and interpreter, “Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Farah Al-Ansari Al-Andalusi Al-Qurtubi.” He was one of the righteous servants of God, knowledgeable, pious scholars, ascetics of this world, busy with what would help them with other matters, and his matter was divided between sects, worship, and classification in the interpretation of the Qur’an. A ten-volume book that he called “Kitab Jami’ al-Hatāf and al-Mubin due to what it includes of the sublimity and meaning of the Qur’an.” It is for the sake of interpretations, and the most useful of them is the omission of stories and histories, and in their place he established the interpretation of the Qur’an, the derivation of evidence, and the mention of readings, parsing, abrogation and abrogation. You may sometimes speak of some hadiths as weak, sometimes on his own authority and sometimes by quoting from others, and that is like Ibn al-Arabi, Abd al-Haqq, and Iana, a great person in hadith grading. |
