Braun quartz design desk AB5 made in Germany ca 1990 Design with practical use by Dieter Rams. The Braun Company from Germany produced it somewhere in the 1990’s. This small black quartz travelers clock comes with a working BCS (Battery Control System) and keeps time well…but the alarm does not go off. The model is AB5 . The design is classical Braun and it only measures 8 cm or 3 1/4 inches wide. There are small signs of use but nothing major selling as a cool time display piece only since the alarm does not work. Do check the attached video to learn all about the designer Pieter Rams!The clock works great and keeps good time however, the alarm sound does not work. I have tried a new battery, but still cannot get it to work.May be an easy fix for someone who knows about these clocks.Apart from that, the clock is in excellent condition, with no noticable scratches. The transparent front cover is also in excellent condition, again, with no scratching or noticable damage.
