Designed with a clear display LCD screen, white backlight and contrast adjustment. Does not require any battery or charger, the reader gets power directly from your vehicle via the OBDII datalink connector.
The car diagnostic scanner is equipped with a 2.5ft long cable and is made of a very thick flexible insulator. There are 6 buttons on the scanner: scroll up/down, enter/exit and buttons to quickly look up vehicle numbers and fault codes.
It is able to read and clear check engine information which is part of the OBDII system but it does not work with non-OBDII systems including ABS / airbag / oil service light etc.
