DuoDERM Extra Thin dressings are sterile and should be handled appropriately.
Choose a dressing that will extend at least 1 1/4" beyond the wound margin. Cleanse the wound according to local practice. Irrigate with saline and dry the surrounding skin to ensure it is free of any greasy substance.
