Any bird fed solely on seeds is at risk of nutritional deficiencies that may result in health problems. Beaphar Fortified Eggfood provides many of the nutritional requirements that seed-based diets lack, including amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Eggfood is essential for birds during breeding, growth and moulting as their nutritional requirements are much higher during these times. Beaphar Fortified Eggfood is suitable for use all year round to help improve plumage and keep your bird in peak condition, or for use during breeding, growth and moulting. Give as a 1/4 of their daily feeding requirement. If desired, the food can be made rougher with a few drops of water. During breeding season: give 2-3 times daily, following the first 24 hours after hatching. Moulting season: give daily. Intermediate periods: give twice a week. Always give unlimited access to fresh water.
