Simply remove the buttons already on the guitar and replace them with the strap lock buttons. Place the screw with the washer through the button and felt pad. Wax the end of the screw and place it in the guitar. Use a manual screwdriver to carefully insert the strap lock until snug. Do the same thing on the other end.
