Dr Bill Manley is Tutor in Egyptology at the University of Glasgow, Research Associate of the National Museums of Scotland, and Honorary Research Fellow of the University of Liverpool. Dr Richard Parkinson, the illustrator, was an Assistant Keeper in the Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan at the British Museum and is now Professor of Egyptology at the University of Oxford and a fellow of The Queen's College, Oxford.
