Overview

The KY-026 Flame Sensor Module is designed to detect fire or infrared light sources within the 760nm to 1100nm wavelength range. It utilizes the YG1006 NPN silicon phototransistor known for its high speed and sensitivity. A built-in LM393 comparator allows adjustable sensitivity through a blue potentiometer, offering both digital (D0) and analog (A0) output signals. The module is perfect for safety, robotics, and DIY projects involving flame detection. It reacts to small flames, such as a lighter, from a distance of up to 0.8 meters and triggers an LED indicator when a flame is detected.
