Book Subtitle"Land of Zykola" by Amr Abdel Hamid
Book DescriptionLand of Zykola by Amr Abdel Hamid They say love is blind... and he says: "I was struck blind when I fell in love." But what can he do—he has fallen in love, and what happened, happened. And here he is, sitting in his room each day, writing once again: "I am Khaled Hosni, twenty-eight years old, a graduate of Cairo University’s Faculty of Commerce for the past six years. My village is called 'Al-Bahoufrik', part of the Dakahlia Governorate. And today, for the eighth time, my marriage proposal to my beloved has been rejected—for the same reason." He then looked at the wall, where he pinned the paper beside seven others, seemingly hung at earlier times.
