About the AuthorMelissa Terras is Professor of Digital Cultural Heritage at the University of Edinburgh‘s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS). She leads digital aspects of CAHSS research as Director of the Edinburgh Centre for Data, Culture and Society, and is Director of Research in the Edinburgh Futures Institute. She previously directed UCL Centre for Digital Humanities in UCL Department of Information Studies, where she was employed from 2003-2017. She is a Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute, and Trustee of the National Library of Scotland. You can generally find her on twitter @melissaterras.Elizabeth Crawford is the author of a number of key works about women's suffrage: The Women’s Suffrage Movement: A reference guide 1866–1928 (Routledge); The Women’s Suffrage Movement: A regional survey (Routledge); Enterprising Women: The Garretts and their circle (Francis Boutle); Campaigning for the Vote: Kate Parry Frye’s suffrage diary (Francis Boutle); and The Great War: The People’s Story – Kate Parry Frye: The Long Life of an Edwardian Actress and Suffragette (ITV Ventures).
