NeoPixel LED ring board is an RGB LED board that you can operate using only a single pin of the microcontroller with the help of the driver on it. There are 16 5050 (5mm x 5mm) RGB LEDs on the card. It is also possible to connect several NeoPixel LED rings consecutively and operate them via the same pin. 

 

 

 

Each RGB LED draws approximately 18 mA current. At the same time, thanks to the current stabilization feature, the brightness of the RGB LEDs on the NeoPixel bar will not change even if the voltage values ​​​​of the battery used as the power source change.

 

The recommended application voltage for the card is 5 Volts. However, in terms of the operating characteristics of the card, it supports voltage values ​​between 4 - 7 V.

 

It works compatible with microcontrollers such as Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM. In addition, very creative and interesting designs can be created for textile products by using wearable electronic products.
