PA-70 Sharpening Leather Honing Paste 70 gr

Tormek honing paste is used with leather honing wheels. You can also use it to give the finishing touches to your leather knives. It ensures effective removal of burrs remaining after sharpening. Extra gives the best shine. It consists of a combination of micro abrasives with a grain size of 3 microns and polishing polish. Abrasives remove burrs without damaging the surface and give extra shine thanks to the polishing chemical.
It lasts up to 5 to 10 sharpenings when applied to the leather surface. As you repeat the application, the skin becomes saturated with the paste after a while and becomes more efficient.
When you have a new leather honing wheel for first use, first impregnate the leather surface with a light machine oil so it gets the right texture and can absorb the honing paste.
If you are working in a dry climate, you may need to re-impregnate the honing wheel after a while with a few drops of oil before applying new honing paste. Do not allow the paste to dry, apply more oil if necessary.
