Twin brothers, Antony and Richard Joseph, grew up in a family with a long history of design and manufacturing. After both training as product designers and beginning their early careers, they founded Joseph Joseph in 2003. Some of the first products they created together were a range of contemporary glass chopping boards that were also highly functional. This combination of stylish form and useful function really excited them and soon they were designing innovative products for many areas of the home. Their ability to blend innovative design, contemporary styling and a distinctive use of colour is unique and has led them to create some truly iconic products. Since 2003, Joseph Joseph has launched over 1000 products in over 100 countries around the world, winning numerous accolades and awards along the way. This includes 14 prestigious Reddot Design Awards and two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, presented to them by HRH The Princess Royal. The head office in central London houses a state-of-the-art design studio with a highly skilled in-house team that oversee the development of the products. Some of their most iconic products include Chop2Pot , the world’s first folding chopping board; Nest 9, a clever space-saving food preparation set; and Index , a set of food-specific chopping boards in a storage case designed to prevent cross-contamination when preparing food. Be it for the kitchen, bathroom or utility room, Joseph Joseph apply the same inventive thinking to everything they do.
