|Editorial Review||"A well presented and easily accessible primer about typography ... The scale of the book is very user friendly and easily transportable. The print quality is, as always with AVA publications, very high, and the relationship between image and text clear and unfussy." Nigel Ball, University Campus Suffolk, UK. "An excellent resource for both staff and students. Easy to use, plain and simple informative language. Layout, text and style contemporary and easy to follow, glossary and index well written." Julie H. Brown, University of Bolton, UK. "I love the visual dictionary, and I think it is a wonderful resource, to quickly find key workds and understand the terminology and definition ... I love the simple layout and imagery that are used. This is a really great guide for beginners - who want to get a basic understanding of the terminology of type." Kyle Iman, Art Institute of Salt Lake City, USA. "A great reference resource on typography - an aspect of design that I have found students struggle with. The usual accessibility and rich visual examples I expect from Ambrose and Harris." Philip Dixon, Southampton Solent University, UK.|
