Testo 270 Cooking Oil Quality Meter (Polar Substance Meter)
Testo 270 oil quality meter; It is a portable polar substance measuring device used to detect the temperature and quality of frying oils. Thanks to the capacitive sensor at the end of the probe tube of this oil tester, it provides the opportunity to record the polar substance value in the frying oil. You can use the device directly in the fryer and get results in 20 seconds. It provides comfortable and understandable use with its user-friendly buttons, limit value indicators based on the traffic lights principle, easy to use and auto hold feature. Thanks to its ergonomic design, it allows the hands to come into contact with the right side.
Features of the Testo 270 Device
The screen of the tester guides you during use, the screen flashes until it reaches a fixed value, the screen works according to the traffic lights principle.
Green : TPM value is appropriate. Yellow : TPM value is at the limit. Red : TPM value has been exceeded.

5. The device must be portable.
6. The device must have a 2-line LCD screen.
7. The case of the device must be ABS plastic.
8. The device should be able to display the TPM amount of the oil with light. As standard, the device should come with a green warning light set to turn on if the TPM amount in the sample is below 18, a yellow warning light if it is between 18-24, and a red warning light if it is higher than 24. The limit values 18 and 24 must be changeable by the user.
9. The device must be suitable for measuring oil at temperatures between +40...+210 degrees.
10. The measurement range of the device should be 0.5 ....40% for TPM value and +40 ºC...+200 ºC for temperature.
11. The accuracy of the device is ±2% for TPM (between +40 ºC...190ºC) and ±1.5 ºC for temperature.
12. The screen resolution of the device is 0.5% for TPM and 0.5 ºC for temperature.
13. The storage temperature of the device is between -20 ºC...+70ºC.
14. The response time (t99) of the device is less than 30 seconds.
15. The device has IP 65 protection with the topsafe protection case provided with the set.
16. While measuring, the device should display the temperature and TPM values of the measured sample together on its screen.
17. The user must be able to self-calibrate the device with special calibration oil whose TPM value is known.
18. The device should give a warning on its screen when the maximum and minimum temperature values are exceeded.
19. Optionally, the device's settings menu should be lockable by the user.
20. The device should be able to operate for approximately 30 hours (approximately 60 measurements) with 2 AAA type batteries.
21. The device should be given as a set in an aluminum bag, including a protective case, calibration oil, user manual, 1 battery and calibration protocol.
