Lamotte DPD 3 is used to measure the total chlorine in pool water. To find the amount of bound chlorine, after measuring DPD3 (total chlorine), the value obtained in DPD1 (free chlorine) measurement is subtracted from the value found, and the result gives the bound chlorine. It is not suitable for use as the color cannot be distinguished in turbid waters.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

 

The product is only used with pill test kits. The usage method is as follows:

one-

The test tube is shaken several times with the water to be tested.

2nd-

The test tube is filled with water to be tested up to the marked part of the chlorine side.

3-

One of the chlorine tablets is dropped into the tube without touching it. The tube is capped and shaken until the tablet is dissolved.

4-

The resulting color is compared with the chlorine color chart. Similar color shows the amount of chlorine in ppm (mg/lt).
