DVR8825 is an affordable stepper motor driver card with a resolution of up to 1/32 microstep that can be used in projects requiring 3D printer, 2D plotter, CNC, general purpose bipolar and unipolar stepper motor control. Since it has a similar structure to A4988, it can be changed directly without making any changes to your circuit. It is an ideal driver for controlling large size stepper motors, as it delivers a current of up to 1.5 A under normal conditions and up to 2.2 A when stressed.

Note1: In order to use unipolar stepper motors with this driver, it is necessary to convert them to bipolar.

Note2: There is a slight difference between pin 10 of A4988 and DVR8825. While pin 10 of DVR8825 is the FAULT pin, pin 10 of A4988 is the VDD pin. This should be taken into consideration when switching from A4988 to DVR8825.
