Style Pea Second Early (Pisum sativum) Annual Flowering Period: June, July, August Position: Full Sun Style is an English Pea (Second Early) expect up to 11 peas per pod of this heavy cropping, semi-leafless variety, good for pea tips. Nice bright colour and good flavour. Direct sow Style peas outdoors from March to June, once the soil as warmed. Choose a weed-free position on moist, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Sow Style seed in flat bottomed drills at a distance of 7-15cm (3-6") apart, and 4cm (1½") deep. Allow a distance of 75cm (30") between rows. For successional crops, sow Style peas every 10 days. Height: 45 - 60cm (18-24\u201d). Spread: 25cm (10\u201d). Sowing Months: March, April, May, June Pick them young while they are tender and stringless - perfect for steaming and adding to stir fries. This superb pea plant produces heavy yields over a long period and shows good resistance to mildew which will certainly extend the picking season.
